Senior Sales Executive


Job Descriptions:

  • Build and maintain strong relations with current and potential key accounts

  • Effective sales follow up with customers and provide sales forecast, new order placement and payment collection

  • Source target clients and perform daily sales activities including making courtesy call/visit, quotation, etc

  • Prepare pre-sales activities, such as presentation, cold-calling, reporting, etc

  • Collect market information of competitors’ activities, market trends, and customers’ behaviour

  • Assist in any other adhoc projects as assigned

JOB Requirements:

  • Diploma/Associate’s Degree or above graduate in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or relate disciplines is preferred

  • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin

  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Strong selling, presentation and communication skills

  • Smart, presentable and self-motivated

  • Able to work under pressure and solve problems independently

  • Immediate available is most preferred

To assist in the development of the SINOTRANS product in Hong Kong; focused on production and output of high-quality sales material and correspondence, with the objective of generating revenue and increasing profitability while continuously improving SINOTRANS services and products to a level that exceeds SINOTRANS customers’ expectations.


1.Distribute any sales related information to the Sales team in a timely manner.

2.Provide input to all Sales team about the overall level of customer satisfaction and quality of service.

3.Work as a link with the Sales team to work on increasing sales and securing new customers.

4.Complete and assist in the development of rate proposals or bid packages in conjunction with the Sales team.

5.Provide sales support of all aspects in order to insure that sales time on the street is maximized by all Sales members..

6.Maintain an up to date copy of the Service Contract / Suggested Sell Matrix charges.

7.Customer profile preparation and updated with B/L and quotation.

8.Assist customers with requests, questions or concerns in order to insure that we will continue to carry existing business and secure new business.

9.Be able to arrange and coordinate cargo bookings as required and/or requested.

10.Process rate requests as required & Special Rate application.

11.Generate introduction of Sinotrans to be sent to the shipper/suppliers with brochures, sailing schedules and any other appropriate information (where this function is not being done by the local Customer Service).

12.Send the cost and selling rate to OP, assist OP to cooperate with customer for invoice release and transshipment arrangement.

13.Assist OP/customer for the Arrive notice release and D/O exchange on time.

14.Prepare the Weekly and Monthly volume report.

15.Sales lead follow up with oversea included sending and tracking with oversea office.

16.Updated the port pair in direction for routed customer.


• Joint call with Sales colleague if needed


• Respond to all e-mails and sales leads within 24 hours

• Maintain accurate and timely communication with the Sales Representatives

• All communication, internal and external, must be clearly written and concise

• Accurately record all customer contacts and liaise with the Sales Representative to aid in the securing of new business and to maintain existing accounts


• Adhere to vacation and sick leave policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook

• Remain available to answer the phone when not involved in meetings or authorized outside activities


• Timely rate quote issuance

• Accurate bookings and rate quotes

• All incoming calls are answered in a timely manner

• Insure all incoming requests are acted upon in a timely manner

• Insure all communications are forwarded and/or responded to directly where appropriate
